To coincide with the pandemic and the world-wide medical focus of this past year, 
McGill University Retirees Association is offering a talk Nature and Nurture: How early life experience changes 
our DNA narrative. Prominent McGill medical researcher, Dr. Moshe Szyf is renowned 
in the field of epigenetics, the study of how behaviours and environment can cause 
changes that affect the way your genes work. Unlike genetic changes, epigenetic changes 
are reversible and do not change your DNA sequence, but they can change how your 
body reads a DNA sequence.

This free event is open to all members of CURAC Retiree Associations and their friends and
