Douglas Angus,until his retirement in June 2016, was a Full Professor in the Telfer School of Management with expertise in health economics and health policy. He was the Director of the PhD Program in Population Health from 2003 to 2010. Previously, he was Vice Dean and Associate Dean in the School from 1999-2002, and Director of the MHA Program from 1997-2001. From 2001 until 2007, Professor Angus also served as a member of the University of Ottawa’s Board of Governors.
Douglas is a member of the Admin Committee's "Special Projects Committee."
Richard Clément holds a doctorate in social psychology from Western University, Ontario. Retired after more than 40 years of service, he has been since 2018 Emeritus Professor at the School of Psychology and at the Institute of Official Languages and Bilingualism of the University of Ottawa.
He has been treasurer of the association since Fall 2019.
Richard Clément's current mandate as member of the Administrative Committee ends in 2022.
Frans De Bruyn is Emeritus Professor in the Department of English, Faculty of Arts. He retired from the University in 2018, after 37 years of service. During his career Frans served in a number of adminsitrative capacities: as Vice-Dean, Department Chair, and Chief Negotiator for the APUO.
Andrée Durieux-Smith is a professor Emeritus of the Faculty of Health Sciences. Her area of expertise is pediatric audiology and more specifically the early identification of hearing loss in infants and children.
In 1993 she became the founding director of the Audiology and Speech Language-Pathology program. In 1997 she became Director of the new School of Rehabilitation Sciences and also subsequently occupied the positions of Vice-Dean research and Vice-Dean of professoral affairs.
She is a fellow emeritus of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences.

André Lapierre retired in 2011 and was elected to the APRUO Administrative Committee in 2017.
He represents APRUO on the Board of Directors of CURAC (College and University Retiree Associations of Canada).
The current mandate of André Lapierre as a member of the Administrative Committee ends in 2023.
Sylvie Lauzon (B.Sc. et M.Sc. Université de Montréal; Ph.D. Case Western Reserve University) started her professional career as a nurse, namely in Northern Québec, then as a professor at Université de Montréal (1988-2002). In 2002, she joined the University of Ottawa where she held the positions of Director of the School of Nursing, Associate Vice-President Academic and Interim Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Sylvie Lauzon retired in 2014.
As President, Sylvie Lauzon represents the APRUO in its relations with the University administration, the APUO, and our sister association ASRA.

Dr. Raymond LeBlanc's teaching field is special education; socio-cultural approach and differential teaching. His research and scholarly activities are in autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental disabilities, learning styles, language and communication, learning disabilities, qualitative methodologies, cultural psychology and quality of life. He is co-director of a collection in neuropsychology and special education that has published 26 books. Dr. Leblanc represented the Autism Spectrum Disorders’ sector on the Minister’s Advisory Council on Special Education for many years and served as a member of the Ministers’ Autism Spectrum Disorders Reference Group.
