Sylvie Lauzon (B.Sc. et M.Sc. Université de Montréal; Ph.D. Case Western Reserve University) started her professional career as a nurse, namely in Northern Québec, then as a professor at Université de Montréal (1988-2002). In 2002, she joined the University of Ottawa where she held the positions of Director of the School of Nursing, Associate Vice-President Academic and Interim Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Sylvie Lauzon retired in 2014.
