The website also includes announcements about events and activities sponsored by the APRUO, such as our annual general meeting and our scholarship program.
The website also permits members to manage their membership (renewals, updating of personal details, contact information, etc.) safely and securely.

The APRUO Scholarship Fund
The APRUO established a scholarship fund in 2003 to provide financial assistance to family members (children, grandchildren, and other dependents) of past and present University of Ottawa employees. University education is costly, and financial difficulty is one of the main challenges students face in completing their studies. In this context, scholarship funds provide qualified undergraduate students with the assistance they need to pursue their studies and continue their personal and educational development.
At its inception, the APRUO Scholarship Fund envisaged financing two awards annually in the amount of $1,000, subject to the availability of funds. As the endowment has grown, we have been able to offer a larger number of scholarships annually, with four scholarships awarded for 2020 and for 2021. In any given year, awards are subject to the number of qualified applicants and the current income of the scholarship fund.
