The APRUO plays a valuable role as your eyes and ears on campus, keeping abreast of developments and changes at the University that affect retirees, and representing you and your interests on the University Pension Committee, at the Board of Governors, and with Human Resources. We negotiate and lobby on your behalf for improved retiree benefits, represent you on the Board of Directors of the APUO, sponsor scholarships for dependents, and extend to you the benefits and resources available through the College and University Retiree Associations of Canada (CURAC). The funds we collect through your dues payment serve in good part to guarantee the capitalization of the Scholarship Fund, as well as the administration of your Association.
